A Local Apparel Store Starts Accepting the Famed Crypto

A local men’s clothing store in Los Angeles (which happens to be rather famous), was the first in the entire world to accept Bitcoin as payment for merchandise. The store, which sells anything from casual wear to suits and shirts, will accept Bitcoin through its website and in-store purchases. That means if you want to convert Bitcoin to cash, you just need to take it to the store to cash out your digital currency. The store, which has been around for about eight years, has managed to stay relevant and profitable despite the current Bitcoin bear market.

Bitquick is a small company with two main goals: to make it easier for people to buy and sell Bitcoin and to make it easier for local merchants like cafes and restaurants to accept Bitcoin. One of Bitquick’s biggest impacts has been educating merchants on how to accept Bitcoin. Merchants are starting to accept Bitcoin, and apparently this is causing people to become the victims of Bitcoin’s volatility. Bitquick is also working on automating Bitcoin’s buying process, which will not only make it easier for merchants to accept Bitcoin, but it will reduce the risk for consumers as well.

There are many reasons why people love Bitcoin. For some, it is because they want to challenge the status quo and move away from traditional banking and financial systems. But for others, like many Floridians, a big part of the appeal is the State of Florida’s recognition of Bitcoin as a legal currency. Now a local clothing store is starting to accept Bitcoin to purchase its clothing and accessories.

Following SpaceX’s announcement that it would accept Dogecoin as a means of payment, a clothing store on Brooklyn’s colorful Flatbush Avenue has also taken a dive into the deep, cold waters of Dogecoin.

Bricks and mortar – another brick in the wall of cryptocurrency adoption

The introduction of cryptocurrencies has been widely and extensively discussed in the media and social media as an investment vehicle and means of payment. Large and small companies have expressed a willingness to accept some form of crypto currency in exchange for their services or products; some have even reversed those decisions. While bitcoin has attracted the most attention in the debate over crypto currency adoption, dogecoin is not far behind and should be taken seriously. Cryptwerk’s Dogecoin directory contains more than 1,300 locations, stores and services that accept Dogecoin, although few of them are physical stores. Bitcoin cash is accepted in many places around the world, including many physical stores. But even among the most enthusiastic proponents of cryptocurrencies, the experience of walking down the street, walking into a store or coffee shop and paying with a cryptocurrency on a daily basis remains largely unrealized. Ragga Muffin, located on Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn, New York, recently started accepting Dogecoins. The clothing and shoe store, which has been around since 1992, decided to use the trendy cryptocurrency because young people love Dogecoin, says the store owner, who only wants to be called by his first name – Dan. Many of our younger customers are interested in cryptocurrencies in general and Dogecoin in particular, so I wanted to be the first Flatbush store to accept Doge to attract more customers. Dan owns Dogecoin and Ethereum himself. His investment philosophy is at odds with the prevailing gospel of Hodl. He is a pragmatic trader who looks for tricks and spikes to make a quick profit. The proof is that his search for dogecoin was not for $1, but for $0.35. Dan wouldn’t disclose sales figures for his latest venture, but he seemed very happy with his decision to accept cryptocurrencies into his business. Many people come when they see the sign, it makes a lot of noise. Some people ask if we also accept bitcoins. I say no, go buy Doge and come back! Dan also didn’t specifically answer the question of why he doesn’t accept bitcoin. Dan had only good things to say about Dogfather himself: Elon Musk has done the Doge community a great service. Who knew Doge before him? I’m not sure. I hope he continues to promote it. I’m waiting for him to say we can buy a Tesla with Doge, that will definitely send Doge to the moon!
