Crypto Payments App Bottlepay Is Now Available Across Europe

Bottlepay, the Crypto-Payments App has been released across Europe.

Bottlepay is a new cryptocurrency payment app which lets you make mobile payments, pay bills, send money, buy and sell items from within the app.

UK-based cryptocurrency payment provider Bottlepay has begun offering its services in other European countries. Users in the Old Continent will also be able to send and receive small amounts in euros, and buy, store and spend bitcoins at merchants that accept the cryptocurrency.

Bottlepay promises cheap transactions in euros and bitcoins

The Bottlepay app allows Europeans to make instant cross-border payments using the eurozone’s only fiat currency, the euro, as well as bitcoin (BTC). The startup, which launched its service in the UK earlier this year, promises to process these transactions at a low cost. Bottlepay founder Pete Chain was quoted by Yahoo Finance: Bottlepay is trying to rewrite the rules for cross-border transactions. The startup was founded in 2019, but announced in December of that year that it was ceasing operations due to new, stricter European anti-money laundering rules.
